Modes of transportation- There are many ways to get around whistler but the main modes of transportation are the gondola, chair lift, car, truck, bus, snow cat, snowmobile but every thing is in walking distance so you could just walk or ski/board.
Negative affect to the environment- There are different ways whistler negatively affects the environment. Some of them are vehicle pollution such as cars or trucks. there are also 270 snow making guns that use lots of water and all of the wastes they don't recycle go to land fills.
Positive affect to the environment- whistler is doing lots to try not to negatively affect the environment.since 2000 they have reduced their waste by 60%. Between 2008 and 2009 alone Whistler reduced waste by 42%. Whistler recycles which reduced waste that goes into land fills. Whistler has also reduced there energy by 15%.
